February's only got 28 days this year. Good for us? Probably not because that means we've got 2 less days before the IB. Terrible.

26 of February - Friday

Like yesterday, today was quite the uneventful day. Sorry guys.

Oh RIGHT!! The Coffee Machine is out of Coffee and they still haven't changed it.

The options are now:

a) Chocolate

b) Chocoleite

c) Hot Water

25 of February - Thursday

The "Casserole Streak" is over...seems we've been spared after all.

24 of February - Wednesday

Brazilian Week is really kicking in and F1 - L6 were given a presentation on Samba, it's origins and how to dance it during the Tutorial period after lunch.

And speaking of lunch, what's going on with the menu?

Monday: Chicken Casserole

Tuesday: Beef Casserole

Wednesday: Fish Casserole

Geez...

23 of February - Tuesday

WE'VE WON! After almost 2 years of battling, haggling and outright protest we've finally won!!

Guess what's been installed in the 6th Form Centre this morning? That's right! A freakin' expresso machine! Now, not only is it absolutely free to use and abuse, but it's got 5 amazing options!

1 - Café Curto

2- Café Longo

3 - Café com Leite

4 - Chocolate

5 - Chocoleite

Of course, there are conditions. Mr. The Jet has told us that if

a) The 6th Form Center becomes a junkyard of plastic cups and spilled Coffee and

b) If we take the coffee to class, library, etc...

the machine will be disabled temporarily or, if there is persistion, removed entirely.

We have this privelege. Now we just have to be careful not to abuse it.

22 of February - Monday

Well, what a surprise! All of the puffs and sofa's in the 6th Form Centre have been replaced! The old, torn puffs were removed and replaced with large and stuffed puffs. The problem? They aren't anywhere near as colourful as before. These only came in 3 colours: blue, light blue and dark blue. Yeah...pretty monochromatic.

The sofa's were a nice touch; the only problem was that the old sofas were comfortable because they were old! They were all soft and cushion-like. Some particular puffs sort of look like they're wooden. Well, no problem! I'm sure we'll wear them down with time and they'll be as comfy as the old ones!

On an unrelated note: Andrea has been admitted into Bentley. Alberto has also been admitted with one difference: a 50% scholarship for tennis activities!

I also got a note from Bentley: turns out I was wait-listed. Well, whilst I wasn't admitted I also wasn't rejected, right? Gotta look on the bright side!

13-21 of February - Carnival Week

Well, school's off for one week. Carnival holidays and all that.

I'm sure we all had fun but we've had to dedicate a lot of time to study too...

Anyway, I went to Rio...here are a pictures since It's been a while since I've put one up:

12 of February - Friday

Many people either didn't show up today or are leaving early (my case). The reason? I had a bus to catch! And the Carnival holidays are about to start!

Happy Holidays everyone (although I doubt much fun will be had with the IB's peering over the horizon!!)

8 - 11 of February Monday Through Thursday

Forgive my lateness in writing this week. Things have been a little hectic with the Extended Essay, TOK Essay and Portuguese A1 World Lit. Coursework all for this week.

Well what can be said about this week? Coursework deadlines at home, a lot of work in classes and Nintendo 64 during break and lunch. What's a 6th Former to do?

5 of February - Friday

Starfox 64 and Mario Tennis are seemingly going to last longer than the PS3 did a few months ago.

It's still tearing up the 6th Form Centre and it doesn't seem to be stopping yet; especially with the discovery of the Doubles in Mario Tennis. You know how we all love 2 vs 2 sports!

4 of February - Thursday

Good additions have been brought for the '64!

Eddie brought us 2 extra controllers and Starfox '64! Seems like today Mario Tennis was substituted for Starfox and 4 players could play at one, rather than two.

3 of February - Wednesday

Well what do you know? What's more classy and nostalgic than bringing a PS3 into the 6th Form Centre? Yes, bringing in a 1997 Nintendo '64!!

Mario Tennis was played over and over again. I think it's interesting to note that it took a while for Gus' winning streak to get shredded...

At Break time we had a meeting to discuss our U6 trip. The decision was not to go to Porto das Galinhas anymore; instead we're going to Búzios!

I can't even describe how uneventful today was. Seriously, I hope something interesting happens tomorrow that'll give me some news....

Turns out I was mistaken, the meeting to discuss U6 things like the trip is on WEDNESDAY the 3rd of Friday... Other than that this was a pretty uneventful morning/afternoon.
