Whilst a few members of the senior school came to school on Saturday because they wanted to (mainly due to the school play), a lot (read: ALL) of the U6 had to come in. The reason? The IB Sciences Group 4 Project.

It basically involved having groups made up of students who study different sciences. The groups would have pupils that study Chemistry, Biology and Physics. The purpose was that each group would come up with their own project that evaluates a topic from all 3 perspectives.

Whilst the variety of experiments was very interesting, with topics ranging from measuring the heartbeat of a microscopic animal to measuring the temperature of a flame, arriving at school at 9 am and leaving at 3 pm on a Saturday was not exactly pleasing to all.
